Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages day-to-day operations for Customer specific parts
    distribution center.
  • Manage and directs the activities of all team members including hiring, training,
    and scheduling of employees.
  • Effectively communicate company values, district and customer objectives, and
    performance metric standards.
  • Measures and appraises team productivity and quality - rewards and disciplines
    team members.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety and work rules, manages safety programs,
    maintains housekeeping standards, investigates problems, and recommends
    corrective actions.
  • Communicate directly with Customer management team regarding dock issues,
    shipment exceptions, or parts service issues/concerns.
  • Head decision maker for all parts shipments from PDC to dealerships.
  • Leads process initiatives and implements continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, or
    Distribution management role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, or other related field
    preferred
  • Exposure to or direct experience in critical, time sensitive delivery.
  • Excellent experience leading quality/process improvements
  • Ability to drive performance and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • Experience driving action plans to fruition including following process from
    initiation to making the recommendations to improve the process
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster external customer
    relationships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with outbound distribution processes
