As the Director of Engineering, you will drive the planning, architecture, development, and maintenance of both our software and data product offerings. You will work closely with the business to help define our functional needs while assembling and managing the technical teams that produce our product output. You will lead the development and execution of the teams' technical roadmap.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble and lead highly performant technical teams for software development, data reporting and analytics, and quality assurance
• Establish best architectural practices for Lanter software and data products
• Drive the execution and vision behind value-added technology products within Lanter
• Maintain alignment between business/client needs and product deliverables

• Ensure timely, successful execution and launch of committed project deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years in a senior leadership role with authority over software engineering teams
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role with authority over data warehousing/analytics teams
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role with authority over technology product offerings (internal or external facing)
• 5+ years of experience with architecture of software systems and data warehouses
• 5+ years of software engineering experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with the Azure data warehousing stack (Data Lake, Data Factory, Data Bricks, and Power BI)
• Experience with mobile application development
• Previous logistics experience, especially in final mile or parcel delivery, a plus
