The Support Manager will oversee all administrative and support functions of the Lanter Hub location. This role will ensure all reporting, documenting, customer service, and communication is done in a courteous and on time manner.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the processing of both the inbound & outbound freight.
• Train, supervise and assist dock personnel in the processing of returns and claims.
• Communicate with both Lanter and DCP personnel on issues regarding OMS documentation.
• Acquire data from primary and secondary sources and maintain database for reporting.
• Ensure daily manifests & loads are cleared in CMT and the information is accurate and complete.
• Ensure all drivers have OMS paperwork in timely fashion.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize efficiency.
• Assist with claims and ensure follow up and reporting of claims is done accurately
• Work closely with Operations to prioritize business and information needs.
• Assist Operations with reconciling freight vs. data feeds.
• Assist in implementation of new technologies and training of staff.
• Advise Lanter Customer Service of freight left on the dock or any other irregularities resulting from the PM operation.
• All contact with customers, DCP, and Lanter personnel is to be made in a courteous and professional manner.
• Comply with all work rules, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations including Hazmat.
• Performs other work related duties as assigned.

Requirements -

• Three (3) years' experience in the logistics, transportation, or warehousing field
• Two (2) years' experience in an administrative role
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Transportation preferred
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment juggling multiple tasks
• Ability to provide a high level of communication with internal and external customers
• Deadline oriented with strong attention to detail
